CCA Andratx
Located in Andratx, at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains, CCA is an extraordinary place, unique in Mallorca. A 4,000 m2 cultural centre with a cloister-like appearance, one of the most special places for the exhibition of contemporary art. Open to visitors, curious families or collectors, CCA invites you to enjoy the best contemporary art and offers an unforgettable experience of art and nature. Guided tours with art specialists can be booked, and the space is also open to the organisation of private events. One of the highlights of CCA is its Artist-in-Residence Program, an international quality project, which allows renowned artists to work and live in the space. This project stems from the need to bring the subtle and unique to light, while at the same time providing a space for reverence that invites new reflection. Inspired by the work of Toni Catany—specifically his “Cossiols” project—this photographic series captures an intimate view of the family home, the passage of time, and a visual exploration of memory and identity through the objects that make up our immediate world. It is a reflection on our roots, the passage of time, the objects that accompany us in our daily lives, and everything that shapes our identity.

CCA Andratx is pleased to present “Lines That Sing”, a solo exhibition by Bunmi Agusto featuring a new series of work that includes painting, drawing, and video. For the first time, the artist presents artworks that are almost entirely abstract, deepening her exploration of how the fields of musicology and cymatics can be translated into the language of visual art. Agusto investigates ways of representing phenomena such as sound, vibration, rhythm, and harmony, transforming auditory experiences into visual compositions.

Anna Belén

The title of Anna Belén’s first solo exhibition in Spain borrows a term from scientific methodology: the “Gedankenexperiment”, or thought experiment — a reasoning tool used by philosophers and physicists to test hypotheses before they encounter the resistance of the real. For Belén, this resistance is precisely where painting begins. Working with oil paint, raw pigments, ink, varnish, and sheet metals — copper, gold, brass — combined with rainwater and saltwater, the Hamburg-born, London-based artist (b. 1997) subjects her canvases to genuinely experimental conditions.
